RCMP are remaining tight lipped regarding their investigation in to a fatal hit and run in Terrace from Sunday.
West Pacific Region Traffic Services reported that one person was in custody and that 7 were questioned at around 1:30 yesterday afternoon.
All seven of the individuals were picked up on Haida Gwaii after police discovered a pick-up truck which matched the description of, and held damage consistent with, the one involved in the collision.
Police seized the truck, along with a second truck, and three boat trailers as part of the investigation.
But, according to RCMP, no charges have been pressed as of yet and they will not be releasing any further information until they are.
The original incidnet, which took the life of Terrace resident Cameron Kerr, occurred 4 kms west of Terrace on Highway 16 on Sunday morning.
Kerr was struck by a truck while walking eastbound along the highway between the hours of 3 and 7 in the morning.
