Terrace City Council has voted in favour of a recommendation by Development Services to go ahead with a cannabis store in the Skeena Mall.
On November 6th, the BC Liquor and Cannabis Distribution Branch submitted the application for the retail store, which met all of the city’s requirements for licensing.
Afterwards, a public hearing was held, and effected businesses and RCMP consulted, with no major issues being raised.
As a result, development services recommended the City approve the license and go ahead with the construction of the store.
There are still a number of requirements and limitations that must be met during the establishment of the store.
