Skeena-Bulkley Valley MP Nathan Cullen says he’s unsure whether or not he will run for reelection this coming fall.
Cullen says he wants to hold off on announcing his decision until after February 25’s Burnaby by-election.
NDP leader Jagmeet Singh is running in that election, and Cullen wants to avoid distractions.
He also clarified that he has no intention of seeking leadership among the party at this time.
Cullen says that, while he hasn’t yet made his decision, the plan was always to go until someone else could do the job better.
