First Nations housing authority focus of newly signed agreement

A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between the First Nations Housing and Infrastructure Council of BC and Indigenous Services Canada.

Under the MoU, the Council hopes to establish a made-in-BC First Nations controlled Housing and Infrastructure Authority.

Co-developed between the two parties, the MoU commits to the collaborative development of the authority, and mandates the creation of a framework.
