Skeena-Bulkley Valley MP Nathan Cullen says Indigenous rights and title will be at the forefront of this year’s federal election.
According to Cullen, the national parties need to have a better answer for how to reconcile band and hereditary leadership.
Climate change, China, and the ever growing housing crisis, which Cullen says effects the north just as much as the metropolitan areas, also made his list of focal points.
Parliament resumed sitting on Monday.
Cullen plans to be back in the riding to launch a big outreach plan in mid-February.
