LNG Canada wants to help residents of Terrace and Kitimat get their licenses.
Two sessions of drivers training in Kitimat and one in Terrace sponsored by LNG Canada will allow 46 students with Class L licenses to get their class Ns.
80 thousand dollars in funding has been provided by the joint venture group for the project.
In Kitimat, the sessions will take place through Kitimat Valley Institute and Haisla Driving School, with the first kicking off tonight.
A second session in Kitimat will run from March 20th to the 22nd.
Terrace will see a partnership with All Nations Driving Academy support evening sessions for those who work during the say.
Those sessions will run from February 25th to March 1st.
After taking the sessions, students will then be able to schedule their in-car training any time in 2019.
Students will also receive a shortened 18 month period between L and N licenses.
