Charges have been laid following a stabbing in Terrace from earlier in the week.
34 year-old Veronica Leanne Bolton is facing one count of manslaughter relating to the Wednesday incident.
Initially, police had received reports of a bloodied vehicle traveling in the downtown area late Wednesday night.
Police tracked the vehicle to a Soucie Avenue home, where they discovered an 85 year-old man unconscious and suffering from stab wounds.
Officers had the man transfered to hospital, but he was declared dead shortly after.
Bolton remains in custody as police continue to investigate.
