A Smithers Jury has found Ronald Fowler guilty on all counts relating to an October 2017 shooting.
Fowler was being tried on charges of attempted murder, aggravated assault with a weapon causing bodily harm, and discharging a firearm with intent.
He is accused of having shot neighbour George Parent on his Two-Mile farm.
According to George’s brother Louis, the pair had a strenuous relationship dating all the way back to 2014.
Fowler had been attempting to argue that, while he had indeed shot Parent three times, he had done so in self-defence.
Parent and Fowler had reportedly had numerous altercations relating to botched agreements in a 2014 farm equipment sale.
Now, the Crown has ruled that Fowler had not acted in self-defence.
Fowler will have a sentencing hearing on March 25th.
