Skeena-Bulkley Valley MP Nathan Cullen says not to get too excited when it comes to Indigenous funding promises made in the Federal budget.
Cullen says that promising the funding is only the first step in the process, and experience has him hesitant to feel overly excited.
As part of Budget 2019, the Liberal Government has earmarked 4.5 billion dollars to Indigenous initiatives, projects, and issues.
But Cullen says that the Federal Liberal’s have a history of not spending promised funding in its entirety.
