RCMP in Terrace have launched an investigation after discovering a deceased body near the courthouse.
At roughly 3:30 this afternoon, police received a report of a male body found on the trails near Olson Avenue.
Once they arrived on scene, officers confirmed the reports before taping off the area.
Both the Terrace Forensic Identification Unit and General Investigation Section are continuing to investigate with assistance from Major Crimes.
Police have not released any more details at the moment, but residents are being asked to avoid the trails while they investigate.
