Members of the Thornhill and Terrace Fire Departments responded to a backyard fire on Queensway Drive this afternoon.
Thornhill fire crews were on scene on the 4500 block of Queensway just after 2:00 this afternoon as the white smoke filled the sky.
Upon first glance, the fire appears to be small and contained, though little information as to the cause of the blaze is known at this moment.
