At roughly 8:00 this morning, a logging truck attempting to turn on to the Sande Overpass in Terrace tipped, spilling logs across the road.
According to RCMP Constable Crystal Evelyn, it appears the truck was attempting to turn right off of Highway 16 when it lost control of the load.
Evelyn says the driver of the truck was taken to hospital as a precaution after suffering non-life threatening injuries.
With the help of an independant logging company, crews were able to clear all of the logs off the road, before removing the truck and debris.
With help from the Commercial Vehicle Safety Enforcement and fire crews, RCMP had the road cleared by 11:00 this morning.
