Prince Rupert RCMP are investigating an attempted abduction.
Police say a 12 year-old girl was grabbed by two men as she was walking to school near McClymont Park Trail.
Investigators say the incident happened between 8:30 and 9:00 between Sherbrooke Avenue and the trail leading to McClymont Park.
A woman walking her dog disrupted the attack and the two men took off running.
The suspects are described as males in their mid teens to early 20s, standing about six feet tall, with darker skin, no facial hair, and wearing black sweatpants.
Investigators called in the Terrace Police Dog Service to help gather evidence on the trail.
