Terrace Council turned tears of sadness in to tears of gratitude following a delegation last night.
Speaking on behalf of the COREY Safe Society, Denise Lodge gave Council a heartfelt pitch for support.
COREY Safe, named in honour of Lodge’s late son, is a society which preaches and advocates for motorcycle safety.
Through the COREY Safe Initiative, they work to both influence legislation toward a graduated licensing system, and educate young riders.
Lodge gave her address to Council in hopes of receiving a letter of support from the City.
She left with a promise of a letter from the City, as well as an individual letter of support from each member of Council.
