Prince Rupert residents looking for information on the proposed rezoning of a Chamberlin Avenue property are in luck.
James and Corrine Warburton are hosting an information session at the Lester Performing Arts Centre this evening.
Information presented at the meeting is meant to educate residents on the bylaw ammendment process as it pertains to the rezoning of 1051 Chamberlin Avenue.
City Council is currently reviewing a request to change the property from M1 light industrial zoning, to RM2 Multi-family residential zoning.
This change would allow the owners to create a new travel accomodation with a restaurant at the property.
This meeting, which will begin at 5:00 this evening, is for information purposes only.
An official public hearing will be held in the future.
