Applications are now being accepted for the Federal Government’s Indigenous Homes Innovation Innitiative.
Up to 24 projects will receive as much as 350 thousand dollars in funding during the accelerator period.
Between 15 and 24 projects will have a shot at as much as 2 million in construction funding during the project implimentatio period.
That funding will support projects that fit in to six focus areas: traditional Indigenous building styles, empowerment and support for local businesses, support for vulnerable populations, culturally-inspired urban spaces, safety and accessibility, and energy efficiency.
