Public consultations are set to launch next month as the province looks to better understand the experiences of families with special needs children.
Three northern stops are among the 8 being made by the province’s Select Standing Committee on Children and Youth.
Residents are invited to provide input on the barriers faced by those suffering from neuro-diverse special needs.
On top of that, the committe is looking for ways to improve and simplify the assessment and eligibility processes.
Consultations will be held in Terrace on May 21st, and in Fort St John and Prince George the following day.
