A 46 year-old Terrace man was killed at a remote logging operation south of Kitimat Thursday, April 18.
RCMP say they were called out to a workplace fatality near Eagle Bay on Douglas Channel late in the afternoon along with the BC Coroners Service and WorkSafe BC.
Reports say the worker appeared to have been struck by a tree and succumbed to his injuries.
RCMP say area is very remote and extremely difficult to access.
Police are not treating the incident as suspicious, but say it is still under investigation.
