Canfor says low lumber prices and the high cost of fibre are forcing the company to once again cut production across its B.C. mills.
The forestry firms says temporary curtailments scheduled to start April 29 will reduce its output by about 100 million board feet.
Canfor cut production at three B.C. mills, including Houston and Mackenzie in January due to similar concerns.
The company has 13 sawmills in Canada and produces approximately 3.8 million board feet of lumber a year.
