Safety and efficiency improvements are on the way for two sections of highway in Burns Lake.
Resurfacing work will pick up this summer on a stretch of Highway 16 between Babine Road and Kerr Road.
In addition to that, a 30 km stretch of Highway 16 will be paved between Endako and Fort Fraser.
A 7.4 million dollar contract was awarded to Peter’s Bros Construction to complete the work, which is expected to wrap up in the fall.
