Terrace RCMP are asking for help finding a big metal box stolen from Thornhill Elementary School over the weekend.
Police say the box was secured to the ground under the covered area near the ball field and was last seen Saturday afternoon.
The equipment stolen is vital to the children’s physical fitness education,
says Staff Sergeant Michael Robinson in a news release. Whoever took it should feel ashamed and return it to its rightful owners – the children of Thornhill Elementary School.
The metal box is six feet long and about three feet wide and contained school equipment.
If anyone has information on who took the box or its location, please contact the Terrace RCMP at (250)638-7400.
Information can also be provided anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS or online at www.terracecrimestoppers.ca.
