Two Prince Rupert residents have been arrested following the seizure of a significant amount of drugs.
RCMP executed a search warrant at a residence on the 1200 block of Summit Avenue on Friday.
During their investigation, they discovered and seized a large quantity of what is believed to be cocaine and marijuana, as well as cash and two vehicles.
Police believe the vehicles to have been involved in a drug trafficking operation.
A 30 year-old male and 25 year-old female were arrested as a result and charged with possession for the purposes of trafficking.
Both were subsequently released, with the woman cleared of charges and the man set to appear in court at a later date.
