Smithers RCMP are seeking witnesses to a morning hit and run.
Police responded to the collision at the intersection of Highway 16 and Main Street at roughly 9:45 this morning.
Officers suspect driver error in the single vehicle incident which resulted in one pedestrian being struck.
There is no update as to the condition of the injured pedestrian at this time.
The driver of the vehicle remained on scene, but police say it was very likely that there were additional witnesses.
