Come August 1st of this year, Smithers Secondary School will have a new vice-principal.
In a release today, the Bulkley Valley School district announced that Mr. Dustin Hersee would be the school’s next second in command.
Mr. Hersee has worked in the District since 2017, filling various roles at Houston Secondary School.
According to the release, the District feels Hersee will promote a positive learning environment and boost leadership.
