A new week, a new job for former Haida Nation Council President Peter Lantin.
Lantin, who filled the role between 2012 and 2018, has been selected to replace Bud Smith on the Prince Rupert Port Authority’s Board of Directors.
Smith had served on the Board since 2012, with his term running up last June.
Board members are selected to fill terms of 3 years at a time, for no more than 3 terms each.
Lantin’s term officially began on June 1st.
In addition to his experience with the Council of the Haida Nation, Lantin has also filled a number of roles in the finance industry.
