Residents of Prince Rupert are being asked to join in on the City’s first ever Recreation and Parks month throughout June.
Prince Rupert is one of a number of communities to join in on the BC Recreation and Parks Association promotion.
In an effort to showcase all of the recreational activities Prince Rupert has to offer, the City is asking residents to show, not tell, their experiences through a social media campaign.
Those looking to show off the city’s best features are invited to do so via Facebook by sharing photos with the hashtag RupertRec2019 or JRPM2019.
Those who share photos during the month will be entered for a chance to win a 3 month pass to the Recreation Complex.
A community open house will also be hosted as part of the promotion on June 28th to highlight local programming and facilities.
