Finding a site to house the proposed Prince Rupert Middle School replacement is at the top of School District 52’s 2019-20 to do list.
A replacement for the 60 year-old building was a leading focal point as the District approved their 2019-2020 Capital Plan last week.
Officials from the Ministry of Education, which has fronted over 1.7 million dollars in funding for the project, are seeking a project report from the board.
Also mentioned at the Board meeting was a plan to replace the aging Conrad Middle School following the new Middle School’s construction.
District staff also plan to build a consolidated board officer once the PRMS situation wraps up.
