Smithers’ summer roadwork is kicking off with a series of intersection repairs this week.
LB Paving has been contracted to perform the slated road work as scheduled in the Town’s 2019 program.
Today will see the start repair work at a number of intersections in the town, which are expected to wrap up by next Wednesday.
Intersections at First and Main, Third and Main, and Pacific and Tatlow will all see work begin today.
Intermitent lane closures and evening work are expected, as well as weekend work.
