Tolko Industries could find themselves under hot water as the Forest Practices Board prepares to conduct an audit.
That audit will look in to work and planning carried out by Tolko in the Cascade Natural Resource District over the past year and change.
Located in the Merritt timber supply area, the location is home to a diverse landscape and wide range of wildlife.
Auditors will examine whether harvesting, fire protections, silviculture, and more conducted between June of last year and this month met their standards.
The audit will begin next week with a full report releasing after it wraps up.
