A large area of northern B.C. could see some stormy weather today.
Environment Canada has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for Terrace, Kitimat, the Bulkley Valley-Lakes, Stuart Nechako, Prince George, and the Pine Pass.
Forecasters say conditions are right for development of thunderstorms this afternoon. Some storms may become severe and produce strong wind gusts, large hail ,and heavy rain by late in the day.
The threat of severe storms will continue through the evening.
