RCMP are investigating a two-vehicle crash in the Cariboo that killed one person and sent two people to hospital.
Mounties were called out just before 1:00 p.m. Friday to a stretch of Highway 97 near McLeese Lake.
Investigators say a northbound Ford Expedition crossed the centre line and collided with a southbound Ford F350.
The female passenger in the F350 was pronounced dead at the scene while the drivers of both vehicles suffered serious injuries.
The highway was closed in both directions until just before midnight.
