Fort St. John RCMP say Highway 97 south of Wonowon will likely be reduced to single-lane alternating traffic for the next 24 hours.
Mounties say a tanker truck carrying natural gas rolled near the Halfway River turn off shortly before 2 a.m. Monday.
The driver was taken to hospital with what police believe are serious injuries.
RCMP say the trucking company will be flaring the natural gas from the tanker, causing reduced traffic flow in the Halfway River/Inga Lake area until sometime tomorrow.
