Prince George RCMP have recovered a treasure trove of stolen goods from a property on the western edge of the city.
Police were called out to a property off Highway 16 Friday after a call from someone who may have spotted a stolen vehicle in the area.
Officers arrested a 57-year-old man at the wheel of the vehicle and saw a number of items at the property they believed were stolen.
A search of the property turned up hundreds of other items, including tools, vehicle parts, pet supplies, lawn mowers, a generator and vehicle tires & rims.
RCMP say five flat deck tow truck loads as well as a cargo van full of property was taken from the scene with an estimated value of more than $50,000.
Investigators are trying to locate the rightful owners of the property, but say it will take some time.
