Burns Lake RCMP are investigating a report of sexual assault.
Investigators say a 15-year-old girl was sitting on a bench at Radley Beach around 11:30 p.m. Thursday August 15 when an unknown man sat down beside her.
The man put his hand on her back and tried to stop her from leaving when she got up. The girl was able to run from the area and call police.
The suspect is described as heavy-set, standing between 5’5″ and 5’10” tall with short dark hair on the sides with longer shaggier hair on top of his head.
He was wearing a red checkered plaid sweater over a black shirt and dark jeans.
This is a priority investigation and we hope the public can provide some assistance in identifying this man,
