Season 6 of hometown hockey will begin on October 6th in Halton Hills Ontario.
The event will be hosted by Ron MacLean and Tara Slone.
This year the hometown hockey tour will be making a stop in Prince Rupert December 8th. There will be events going on throughout the day including, live entertainment, NHL alumni, and hockey themed events.
A viewing party of an NHL broadcast will also take place from the sportsnet mobile studio.
The viewing party will see the Buffalo Sabres take on the Oilers in Edmonton.
The government is excited to be selected as one of the stops on the Hometown Hockey Tour.
