There were some tense moments at the Upper Skeena Recreation Centre earlier this week.
Staff evacuated the facility after an ammonia leak was detected Monday, but there were no injuries.
The Regional District of Kitimat Stikine says a minor leak was discovered in the ice refrigeration system.
The centre re-opened Tuesday afternoon once repairs were made.
The brand new, $20 million facility had its grand opening Saturday.
