The former mayor of Burns Lake will return to court in two months to hear his sentence in a sexual assault case.
Luke Strimbold’s sentencing hearing was originally set to get underway September 23rd, however it was moved ahead to due scheduling issues.
In May, Strimbold pleaded guilty to four counts of sexual assault involving four people
Strimbold, who served as mayor of Burns Lake from 2011-2016, initially faced 29 charges including sexual assault and sexual interference involving boys under the age of 16.
He will be sentenced November 25, in BC Supreme court in Smithers.
