Burns Lake RCMP are hoping someone can identify a suspect in an August sexual assault case.
Police have released a composite sketch of the person investigators believe may be responsible.
Mounties say a 15-year-old girl at Radley Beach was approached by an unknown man August 15th at 11:30 p.m.
RCMP say the man put his hand on her back and tried to stop her from leaving, but the girl was able to run away and call police.
The suspect has been described as possibly Indigenous, heavy-set, about 5’5″ to 5’10” tall with brown eyes, short dark hair on the sides with longer, shaggier dark hair on the top of his head.
“This is a priority investigation and we hope the public can provide some assistance in identifying this man,” said S/Sgt. Saunna Lewis, NCO i/c Burns Lake RCMP in a news release.
