Halloween has arrived for another year and the City of Terrace is reminding those celebrating to be safe.
The Canadian Paediatric Society recommends that children under 10 are always accompanied by an adult. Children that go without adults should go in at least a group of three.
Make sure to discuss their route and curfew ahead of time. Ensuring that they have a cellphone and a flashlight before they leave.
For costumes, masks can make it harder to see what’s around them. Long costumes should be avoided as they may present a tripping hazard. Light-coloured material is preferable on costumes to help improve children’s visibility.
The City of Terrace encourages everyone to stay safe and have fun.
