The BC Conservation Officer Service is asking people not to use fish nets to protect their gardens.
The reminder comes after officers recently freed an entangled deer in Prince Rupert.
An officer managed to immobilize the animal before untangling it.
It’s not the first time the Conservation Officer Service has had to deal with deer caught up in something.
Two years ago, officers managed to get a purple hammock of the head of Hammy the deer who was frequently seen in Prince Rupert.
Contact the RAPP line if you seen an entangled animal.
