Burns Lake RCMP are investigating after they received a report of a needle found in Halloween candy.
Investigators say the young trick-or-treater went to several neighbourhoods, so police have not been able to isolate where the candy may have come from.
RCMP say this is the only report of potential harmful candy that the Burns Lake detachment has received following this year’s Halloween.
Police say its an important reminder to have an adult inspect your candy before eating it and only eat things that are in unopened wrappers.
Anyone with information about the incident should contact Burns Lake RCMP or Crimestoppers.
