Fraser Lake RCMP are investigating the death of a man at the community’s shopping mall.
Investigators say the 66-year-old local resident was found dead in the parking lot Tuesday morning.
Police say evidence suggests he was hit by a commercial vehicle and the investigation led Mounties to the suspected truck involved.
RCMP are examining the vehicle and say the driver is cooperating with police.
Police say alcohol was not involved, but investigators still don’t know what caused the man to be hit.
Mounties would like to speak with anyone in the area of the shopping mall and along Endako Avenue between 7:30 and 8:00 Tuesday morning or anyone that may have dash camera footage.
