Prince Rupert has selected it’s location for the Hometown Hockey event.
After a successful submission from the Rec staff as well as minor hockey, the Rec Complex will be hosting the events December 7 and 8.
The two days will feature live entertainment, NHL alumni, local celebrities and hockey-themed activities for all ages. The festival will conclude with an outdoor viewing party of an NHL game hosted live by Ron MacLean and Tara Slone on Sportsnet.
The City of Prince Rupert is encouraging local businesses in the community to get involved.
