On November 5th, a rock slide closed Telegraph Creek Road, approximately 20 km east of Telegraph Creek.
According to the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure the majority of the debris from the rock slide has been removed. Loose rocks have been removed by a rock scaling crew.
A lock block wall was constructed to support the slide area, with a secondary wall constructed as a catchment area for any loose material.
The road is now completely open with work continuing on the site. The area is being closely monitored by the ministry and the local highway maintenance contractor.
