The Lheidli T’enneh are expressing concern over comments made by West Coast Olefins Ltd.’s (WCOL) Chief Executive Officer.
The comments suggest that the Lheidli T’enneh are supportive of WCOL’s proposed natural gas liquid extraction and ethylene facilities, which are planned to be located in Prince George. There has been preliminary discussions with the WCOL. The Lheidli T’enneh would like to clarify that it does not support either of WCOL’s proposed projects at this time.
The Lheidli T’enneh have said that WCOL has taken steps that have harmed the relationship and raised fundamental concerns over the proposed projects.
