As the Wet’suwet’en situation intensifies a protest in Terrace is taking place to support the Wet’suwet’en.
Organizer Hilary Lightening says, “It’s really important because we are all in this together, it’s not just indigenous nations, it’s also the settler communities that, the allies that we have here today. Demonstrate that they also understand that what’s happening is unconstitutional.”
She also says that this is a step back in the ongoing reconciliation,
The protest took place infront of the RCMP building in Terrace with various signs in support of the Wet’suwet’en.
