Yesterday, Terrace Community Forest (TCF) presented $50,000 in grants on behalf of the City of Terrace to eight local organizations seeking funding for recreational projects.
Grants ranged from $2,500 to the Mount Remo Backcountry Society to $10,000 for the Terrace Curling Club. At the presentation, held at noon, the grantees explained their projects to Council and thanked Terrace Community Forest and the City for their support.
With this year’s numbers included, TCF has granted out approximately $500,000 on behalf of the City of Terrace to community groups that provide recreational opportunities in the community. You can find a full list of the grants given out on the City of Terrace website.
