In a letter released yesterday, Peter Zebedee, CEO of LNG Canada is reassuring Canadians that they are continuing to hit critical construction milestones. This is currently the second year of constructing the facility, pile driving has begun and this is the second year of dredging.
Employment will continue to ramp up to 7,500 employed with 4,500 on site at any time. Currently there is more than 1,000 people across the pipelines route that are already working.
Zebedee goes on to say that LNG Canada continues to lead in greenhouse gas emissions performance. The facility was designed with such a purpose as to minimize emissions.
