There was a report of wolves on the Butze Rapids Trail this morning.
A passerby encountered wolves and was reportedly chased. The Conservation Officer Service said that wolves are common this time of the year in this area.
The RCMP attended the scene after the report to ensure safety. The Conservation Officer Service reminds those hiking the trail to keep their animals on leashes.
