A note for drivers in the Northwest.
Highway 16 will be closed 34 kilometres east of Terrace starting at 10:30 Thursday March 12 for avalanche control.
The BC transportation ministry says motorists can expect delays of up to 40 minutes.
The work, on a 1.2 km stretch between Chimdemash Loop and West-Binwall, is scheduled to be complete by noon.
